About Me
My name is Michael Ciccarelli (pronounced:chick-er-elly) and I was born on April 1st 1986 in Niagara Falls, New York, where I still live today (22 years later). I believe strongly in Open Source, p2p, Web Standards and Karma. Hopelessly addicted to Starburst, Sam Adams Cherry Wheat beer and Apple Computers. When I'm not sitting in front of my computer, I enjoy rollerblading, playing poker, playing xBox Live, listening to music and watching movies. Out of high school (class of 2004) I decided my best choice for secondary education would be a tech school to avoid all the general education courses a university would put me through. There happens to be an ITT Technical Institute right down the road from my hometown so I signed up for the SAP Program (Software Application Programming) and was one of the 3 remaining students to complete the course (out of 40). During college I started my venture into the world of freelance/contract work. I was constantly getting side-jobs from either fixing a small PC problem or complete website design and development. Over this time I've learned many techniques and indispensable knowledge on all things related to website design, development and computers. Recently I've made the decision to stear clear of the hardware/troubleshooting world and devote all my time with graphic and web design, which I enjoy very much and my skills are growing everyday.

This site serves as both my portfolio where I can compile all my design work together for presentation and also my Weblog where I can express my self on all things of interest to me. This site was handcrafted by myself using the latest web technologies and standards, powered by the latest version of Wordpress (an extremely powerful CMS). Hosted on a Media Temple Dedicated-Virtual Server (RAGE).
